CAMP KINDNESS Day 5

Today,First we did our skits for our parents. Next,we made a Thank You poster for the ACO'S. At Shelter Buddies nothing was new. At Rotations, I picked Cat Socialization! We got a cat named Calvin,4 black kittens, and a siamese cat! Lastly, The owner of Three Dog Bakery came and we made dog treats!

CAMP KINDNESS Day 4

Today,First we read an article about a person who had 41 cats! Next we practiced our skits and made invitations!Then, We went to Shelter Buddies! Brendan took some pics and videos that he'll post up later. In,Rotations I got Surgery! If u think it's gross it's not,it's actually interesting!
Lastly,a vet came to talk to us about animals!

This is one of the adorable dogs still up for adoption at the Humane Society.

This dog is a kind and loving female. If you want a bigger dog you should get this one.

CAMP KINDNESS Day 3

Today we went on a tour outside the Humane Society!It was so cool!Next we folded laundry for the dogs and took toys out of their packages.Nothing was new in Shelter Buddies except that we had some new dogs there!We gave them names and socialized with them.Next at rotations,i got Cat Socialization!The cat i got was hyper and funny!Lastly,we talked to a group called Domesti-Pups!

Look at them. They need your help to find them a home. Come adopt a friend for life!

Today, I saw a stray dog! My Mom called the Humane Society and we walked him home! B will post a video of him soon so look out!

CAMP KINDNESS Day 2

Today,First we watched a Dog & Cats safety video!Next we did Shelter Buddies! Nothing was really new except that Toffy was adopted!Today was also the first day of rotations!We have 3 rotations,Dog Socialization,Cat Socialization,And Surgery.Today i got Dog Socialization!Since theres only 3 i get to chose which one i want to do again on Friday!Next,we came up with a skit for making a difference!It's about how a boy sees a dog being abused and saves it.Lastly, a speaker came and talked about dogs!

CAMP KINDNESS Day 1

Today,we got t-shirts and nametags!We also talked about pets and animals and took a tour of the Nebraska Humane Society!When we did Shelter Buddies(where u get to socailze w/ dogs)i had 5 buddies.Malaki (boy),Macie (girl),Bruschi (boy),Toffy (boy), and Beta (girl)!I'll tell u there breeds tomorrow 8-)!I also met Sampson (boy).He was deaf in one ear!I knew this because he had 1 blue eye.He also wouldn't stop barking because he couldnt' hear.Lastly, When walking back to homeroom i saw a baby version of my cat Oreo!
